Toddlers ages 15 months to 2.9 years are unique little individuals. They are in between babyhood and preschoolers so our program is careful to nurture these powerful and strong willed balls of energy! We are happy to provide a safe and challenging learning environment that will stimulate your toddlers imagination as well as provide for the routines and loving consistency of care that toddlers need to thrive and grow. We have a soft climber for safe gross motor play as well as push and pull toys to encourage and strengthen gross motor skills such as walking.
Our preschool children ages 2.9 yrs to 5 benefit so much from the services Smart Cookie's provides. Our curriculum is state approved in preparing your child for Kindergarten. Our program's environment includes: 6 main learning areas that focus on different skills. Our learning areas are: Block area, Dramatic play, Science, Book/Quiet area, Math area and our outdoor gross motor play area. Preschoolers will be taught through play and small/large group activities in the areas of motor skills, cooperation, self-help skills, science/math, health and safety, language/literature and the arts.
Smart Cookies has 2 slots available for young school age children. We provide care for before school, after school and during school vacations. Meals during these times are included in tuition. We have various age appropriate activities for the school age child and also provide homework help when needed.
